Browse antique sunflower illustrations printed on canvas. They come from old flower plates, natural history books and museum paintings that are free to reuse. The selection is small for now, because few free-to-use images of this subject exist. Every image comes from a public-domain or open-access collection, and each print page names its source. Each print ships on stretched canvas in five sizes, from 12x18 ($59) to 40x60 ($299), with free shipping in the US. Tall flower plates suit a narrow wall, and a 24x36 holds a sofa wall on its own.
Questions
Where do the images come from?+
From the National Gallery of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection, the Biodiversity Heritage Library and six other public-domain libraries. Each print page names its source.
Can I return a print?+
Each canvas is made to order, so we cannot take returns when you change your mind. If it arrives damaged or defective, tell us within 30 days with a photo and we will replace it for free.
What is the canvas made of?+
A synthetic fiber fabric with a water-resistant layer, stretched over a pine frame that is 0.6 inches deep. The inks are archival pigment inks, and the print is made and shipped in the US.
